VIDEO: High School Students Volunteering At NCC Featured By WMBC-TV

High school students from in Jersey City lived and volunteered at 91¿´Æ¬ for a week-long urban immersion. The teens, who hailed from towns across northern New Jersey, lived in two apartments at a low-income residential building for seniors and disabled residents called 91¿´Æ¬ Associates in Newark, along with two adult staff members.

The group served at various 91¿´Æ¬ sites, including Community Hills Early Learning Center, Harmony House, a transitional housing facility for homeless families, and the Extended Care Facility, among other locations. spoke to the students at the beginning of their urban immersion, after they had just completed day No. 1.
