From Stress to Success – How financial literacy and self-care go hand in hand.

This workshop, held on Thursday, Nov. 20 from 12 to 1:30 p.m., is to help participants understand how financial literacy and self-care work together to improve overall well-being. Many individuals experience financial stress caused by debt, rising expenses, and limited savings. Chronic financial stress can lead to heart disease, stroke, diabetes, obesity, depression anxiety, poor sleep, and unhealthy coping behaviors. It also weakens the immune system, making the body more vulnerable to infections and slower to recover from illness.

Participants will learn core principles of financial literacy — budgeting, saving and debt management and how to create simple, sustainable financial habits using reliable financial tools and solutions that reduce worry, promote confidence and support overall health.

Through interactive discussions, self-assessment activities and guided reflection, this presentation will demonstrate that financial wellness is not just about money — it’s about balance, clarity and peace of mind, moving from a place of stress and uncertainty to one of empowerment and success.
